مشارکت در مرمت قلعه‌دختر آهار
جمعی از مرمتگران با مشارکت اهالی روستای آهار و کوهنوردان علاقمند در اقدامی داوطلبانه تصمیم به حفاظت و مرمت این بنا گرفتند. در تابستان ۱۴۰۱، مستندنگاری و اقدامات اولیه‌ی رفع خطر بنا با هزینه‌ی ٢٧٠ میلیون تومان انجام شد. در سال ١٤٠٢، مرمت تکمیلی بنا از ابتداى خردادماه شروع شده است. در مشارکت با این فعالیت، از طرف خاموش، علاوه بر ویرایش گزارش‌های کار (خورشید) و طراحی دعوتنامه‌ی مشارکت (کیمیا)، ۲۰۰ یورو کمک مالی کردیم (پانته‌آ از طرف هنرمندان آلمانی u-matic و telematique؛ از درآمد پروژه‌ی اجرای Fragile Fragments). همچنان کار بسیار است و منابع مالی محدود. هر شراکتی در این اقدام داوطلبانه دست کمکی است برای حفاظت از این میراث تاریخی ارزشمند.
A group of restorers, in collaboration with the locals of Ahar village and mountain-climbers, have voluntarily decided to undertake the preservation and restoration of this monument. Initial assessment, documentation and conservation planning were carried out in summer 2022, costing the equivalence of 5400 euros. The restoration of the building began in June 2023. Khamoosh has participated in this endeavor so far by offering editorial support for the written documentation of the project (Khorshid), Graphic design (Kimiya Moradi) and donating 200 euros (from Fragile Fragments audiovisual performance through pantea, a direct contribution of the fees of the German visual artists u-matic and telematique). This is an extensive body of work with limited financial resources available. Any participation in this endeavor would be a significant contribution to the conservation of this invaluable historical heritage

Collaboration and Collective Listening
برپایی اردوگاه شنیداری رک‌آن
اردوگاه شنیداری رک‌آن (rec-on) فضایی برای پژوهش هنری و کار مشارکتی خاموش و گروه‌های مشابه است. اولین رویداد غیررسمی با حضور بعضی از اعضای رک‌آن و خاموش در آغاز تابستان برپا شد. یک نمونه آهنگسازی با آواهای خاموش نقطه‌ی شروع این اردوی شنیداری شد و اما در نهایت بر آن شدیم که ازین فضا برای برقراری ارتباط میان گروه‌های مختلف و شناخت فعالیت‌های مشارکتی استفاده کنیم. این بستر روندمحور منبع الهام کار آهنگسازی پانته‌آ، خوشنویسی مریم رمضان‌خانی و تسهیل‌گری و آهنگسازی AGF و باقی افرادی‌ست که تا اینجا بخشی ازین اردوی شنیداری را تجربه کرده‌اند. 🦇
Kicking off the Audio Residency at rec-on.org
The audio residency at rec-on has created space for the exploration of collaborative work and collective artistic practice. The first informal gathering was held in June 2023 with a few members of Khamoosh and rec-on. A composition made with the Khamoosh sonic archive was discussed as the starting point, and we collaboratively landed on the idea of collective listening sessions. The idea is to create and share knowledge through listening and to connect commonalities in seemingly disparate contexts. This process-based approach has inspired us in different ways: the musical process of pantea’s work, Maryam Ramezankhani’s Persian calligraphy and the curatorial work of the sound artist and activist AGF
Refer to the poster below for information about the organised collective listening sessions. All of these sessions will be in English with the possibility of facilitation in Farsi. This was inspired by conversations about language between rec-on and Khamoosh and a book AGF shared: Translation is a Mode=Translation is an Anti-neocolonial Mode by Don Mee Choi
The second and third session will simultaneously happen in Rabt space physically, a roaming curatorial studio in Tehran. Rabt‘s projects are primarily intertwined with artistic research, with a focus on sound and sonic arts. Rabt space in Tehran is dedicated to collaborative practices with artists and collectives, including conducting workshops and curating exhibitions. Golnoosh and Sahand from Khamoosh have undertaken the moderation, production and organisation of the sessions in Tehran
مجموعه‌ی از رویدادهای باهم‌شنیدن حاصل این فضای مشارکتی‌ست که همکاری ویژه‌ای بین فضاهای مختلف برقرار می‌سازد. تمامی این جلسه‌ها به انگلیسی و با امکان تسهیل‌گری به فارسی برگزار می‌شود. دو جلسه‌ی پایانی هم‌زمان در تهران با همکاری فضای رَبت شکل می‌گیرد. رَبت یک استودیوی سیار کیوریتوریال است. تمرکز عمده‌ی پروژه‌های رَبت بر پژوهش هنری با گرایش به صدا و هنرهای صوتی است. برنامه‌های فضای رَبت در تهران به فعالیت‌های گروهی اختصاص دارد و با هم کاری هنرمندها و گروه‌های مختلف به شکل کارگاه و نمایشگاه برگزار می‌شود. گلنوش و سهند از خاموش، هماهنگی، تولید و تسهیل‌گری این فضا را در تهران بر عهده گرفته‌اند.
امکان حضور در این جلسه‌ها برای همگی وجود دارد و حضور بیشتر این روند را غنی‌تر می‌کند. 👇

با سپاس از مشارکت ساشا آقابابایی، اولین نسخه‌ی آوانامه (فرهنگ واژگان صدا) ساخته شد. گروه آوانامه، ادبیات میراث شنیداری و واژگان تخصصی حوزه‌ی صدا را مطالعه و گردآوری می‌کند.
Thanks to Sasha Aghababei who developed the first prototype of Avanameh (meaning sound glossary) software. Avanameh is a group dedicated to the development of a sound-related glossary in Farsi and other languages and dialects spoken in Iran

خالی زمستان گذشته هم‌سفر کاتی‌وا شد و مراسم حراکاری در روستای گوران در جزیره‌ی قشم را با همکاری پنجول ضبط کرد. بعدتر با همکاری ربت در پروژه‌ای برای ساخت پادکست، کلاژی صوتی از این سفر ساخت. خالی در این پادکست روایت شخصی خودش را بازتاب داده و علاوه بر آن، تمامی صداها و اطلاعات آن را در اختیار خاموش قرار داده تا هر کس بتواند از این ماده‌ی خام با دیدگاه خودش و در بسترهای متفاوت استفاده کند.
بخشی ازین کار را در جلسه‌ی دوم با هم شنیدن (پوستر بالا) گوش خواهیم کرد و برای به اشتراک گذاشتن نتیجه‌ی نهایی پادکست خالی هیجان‌زده و مشتاقیم!
Khali partook in Kativa’s journey in the winter of 2023. Kativa is a field recorder that travels person by person throughout and possibly beyond Iran to collectively record sounds, especially those inaccessible to get documented and recorded. Khali and Panjool engaged in the traditional planting of a variety of mangrove trees, Avicennia marina, on Qeshm island in the south of Iran. This tree called Harra in Farsi became a site of recording, storytelling and later a communal space in which Khali and Golnoosh started creating a conversation based on this field trip. Khali created her narrative through a podcast creation. She has also created and shared a folder containing all field recordings named and categorized for the different members of Khamoosh to work with this raw material from diverse perspectives
We will listen to parts of this piece in the second session of the collective listening sessions (poster above), and we’re excited to share with you the final result of the podcast soon
